Our article Identifying and Exploiting Target Entity Type Information for Ad Hoc Entity Retrieval by Darío Garigliotti, Faegheh Hasibi, and Krisztian Balog has been published in the Information Retrieval Journal. The full-text article is available here, with resources made available on GitHub.

The Journal of Data and Information Quality (ACM JDIQ) had a two-parts special issue on Reproducibility in Information Retrieval. There are two papers in there, co-authored by Krisztian Balog:

Our paper “Ad Hoc Table Retrieval using Semantic Similarity” by Shuo Zhang and Krisztian Balog got accepted at The Web Conference (WWW ’18). The acceptance rate this year was below 15% [PDF].
